Name Labels, Name Tags, Clothes Labels and School Labels

Stikins® name labels were first developed in 2003 by Label Planet as a revolutionary alternative for garment labelling. Until Stikins®, people used either sew in labels or iron on labels. Sew in labels were frustrating and time consuming, whereas iron on labels tended to fall out in the wash. Stikins® Original clothing labels combined a unique label material, adhesive and shape to ensure that they stayed attached to the garment’s wash-care label.

The material on the front of Stikins® Original was designed to exactly match the type of ink we use to print the labels; the print will almost certainly outlast the life of most garments. What’s more, as the label is so soft and pliable, it won’t cause any irritation or discomfort. The product is sold in assorted packs containing labels for general school items and shoes. After seven years, tens of thousands of parents are reordering Stikins year after year.

This year is an exciting year for Label Planet as it sees the launch of the new Stikins product. New Stikins are the result of a breakthrough in the adhesive and label material manufacturing industry. Label Planet has now developed a vinyl product so strong and resilient that it can be applied to the wash-care label of clothing without the need for a special 'H’ shape to secure it. Because of its size and shape, it is not just easier to apply, the same label can be used on all of the items that the original assorted pack could be used for. This means that parents won’t run out of one specific type of name label before another.
